ORLANDO - Their 1-2 record and spotty play to this point seems to suggest that the University of Central Florida football team could be in for a long year.

History, however, indicates that there's no reason for the Golden Knights to panic just yet.

Last season, UCF lost its first two games, but rebounded once Conference USA play started and the Golden Knights ended up crafting the finest season in school history. They won the East Division of C-USA and reached the conference title game and a bowl for the first time ever.
