Knights must come to grips with reality
OK, can UCF finally stop dreaming and start doing?
This is the message that must be sent by school administrators, coaches, fans and even the media in the wake of the Golden Knights' 19-14 conference-opening loss to Southern Miss Tuesday night.
Can we now officially stop all this talk about UCF becoming the next Florida or Florida State?
Can we even cease and desist with the rhetoric about UCF trying to keep pace with USF?How about this as a new stated goal for the Golden Knights:
Just be Southern Miss.That's all we ask.
Just be Southern Miss.
