Adjustments continue on the offensive line

Last season the self-proclaimed "mules" of UCF's offensive line got the job done with an ironman-like effort, with no member of the starting front five finishing the season with fewer than 12 starts. This season a mix of nagging injuries and at times inconsistent production have prompted the Golden Knights' coaching staff to make some adjustments. Coach George O'Leary said that ideally he likes to have a group of seven or eight linemen from which to choose.

Though it mainly came about because of necessity with nagging injuries ailing starting C Cedric Gagne-Marcoux, over the past two games the play of senior Dan Veenstra and junior Dominic Ignelzi has finally helped O'Leary to identify that core group of linemen.
