ORLANDO - It might seem as if Javid James has suddenly burst on the scene for the University of Central Florida, but in reality the junior wide receiver has been preparing quite some time for this moment.

James, a junior-college transfer in his second year in the UCF program, has emerged as a solid threat opposite of standout wideout Mike Walker after a slow start to the season.
