ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. - Rodney Harrison predicts the rest of the league will finally begin to notice Asante Samuel after the third-year cornerback forced another turnover in Sunday's win at Buffalo.
"I keep saying the way he's playing and the way he's maturing, he's one of the best corners in the league," Harrison said after the Patriots beat the Bills, 28-6, at Ralph Wilson Stadium. "I keep saying it, but no one's listening. I think he's making everyone pay attention now."
Samuel picked off an errant pass by J.P. Losman at the Patriots 13 with 2:00 remaining in the first half. He also had two interceptions against the Miami Dolphins on Oct. 8 and leads the team with three heading into next week's game at Minnesota. Sunday's pick tied his single-season career high, which he set last year in his first full season as a starter.
