Memphis game is all about pride

At the beginning of the season, Saturday's meeting between UCF and Memphis looked on paper like a game to circle on the schedule, featuring two of Conference USA's top-tier programs and two of its higher profile coaches.
But when the Golden Knights (2-7, 1-4 C-USA) limp into Memphis Saturday to take on the equally ailing Tigers (1-8, 0-5), pride -- not championship implications -- will be on the line.
While winning definitely won't take a backseat this weekend, thanks to a few nagging injuries sustained the past two games, look for UCF Coach George O'Leary to begin to start getting more of his younger players into the lineup against the Tigers.
