With a massive upgrade to their athletic facilities, UCF is the up and comer in Conference USA. The recruits are pouring into Orlando and the future is extremely bright. However, this season may be a small step back on the hardwood. The loss of Josh Peppers and Lavell Payne is a concern and the rest of the conference should be much better than last year. That will boost the conference RPI, but it will also make it much more difficult for the Knights, who are no longer Golden, to finish with another 11-5 conference mark. Joel Welser: Collegehoops.net
