Joachim just happy to get another shot with UCF

If you didn't know his story, at the beginning of the season you might not have known that fifth-year WR Sergio Joachim was even still on UCF's roster.

Joachim, who left the Knights program last spring after a disagreement with Coach George O'Leary, wasn't around to be included in the 2007 team media guide. And he didn't officially make it back on the roster until the start of fall practice.

But after a long, strange journey that he admitted earlier this season was both "humbling and a blessing," Joachim shined Saturday. QB Kyle Israel's favorite target in the first half, Joachim turned in a career-best 9-catch, 98-yard receiving day and ignited a UCF offense that has been in park the past two weeks.
