ORLANDO, Fla. -- Orlando visitors usually leave the vacation destination smiling.
Tulsa football coach Todd Graham left the Sunshine State disgusted on Saturday night following the Golden Hurricane's 44-23 loss at the University of Central Florida. "This was a big game. We can't downplay this," Graham said. "It is a game that we needed to win, and it hurts a big deal in the conference race."
Tulsa (4-3, 2-2) was tagged with its second Conference USA loss, darkening its hope for a second league title in three years.
Everything looked promising for the Hurricane early. A Bright House Networks Stadium announced crowd of 45,510 saw TU motor to touchdown drives in its first two possessions. The Hurricane led 14-7 after the first quarter.
