UCF 44- Tulsa 23: Israel gets job done

ORLANDO -- UCF quarterback Kyle Israel's performance last week against No. 2 South Florida was so poor he received death threats following a practice early this week.

Saturday night against Tulsa, Israel and his teammates vindicated themselves in a big way.

Israel turned in his the best overall performance of his career, completing 21-of-29 passes for 224 yards and one touchdown. He also ran for 53 yards and one touchdown to lead the Knights to a 44-23 Conference USA victory over Tulsa at Bright House Networks Stadium.
