The chance at a winning season is gone. So are bowl eligibility and the dreams of a senior class wanting to go out on top.

So what does the UAB football team have left to play for?

"We're playing for our seniors, we're playing for us, our teammates, our coaches," said junior wide receiver Sylvester Mencer. "We still can win more games than we won last year. If we finish this year out (successfully) that will be an improvement."
