UCF's Kevin Smith: I'll be back

Knights star wants to play as senior

ORLANDO - The talk that started in hushed tones when University of Central Florida tailback Kevin Smith opened the season with a bang has morphed into a full-fledged roar with records falling seemingly every week.

Will Smith, the nation's
second-leading rusher at 176.8 yards per game and top individual scorer with 23 touchdowns, leave UCF following this season and opt for the riches of the NFL?

Fresh off a staggering 320-yard, four-TD performance against Alabama-Birmingham, Smith is flattered by the feelings that his off-the-charts combination of speed and power are ready for the professional ranks. But the junior back said Wednesday he has no plans to leave the Knights anytime soon.
