Despite the Golden Knights struggles between the lines in 2006, fans are showing up in record numbers so far for UCF home games.
The home attendance of 13,506 through four games this year is on pace to break the regular-season home attendance record of 153,343 set in 1988. That figure included seven home games, the same number as this season.
Through four games, UCF's home attendance is averaging 33,877. If that number holds, the Knights will pass the 200,000 mark for the first time in school history.
