UCF puts focus on saving its season

The Golden Knights still have plenty of chances to make a run in the C-USA.

UCF Coach George O'Leary has a saying about losses. He says that when a team is in the right frame of mind, it "dies a little" after a defeat.

Under that analogy, if the Golden Knights are going to save their season, the resurrection must start at 4 p.m. today when they host Rice at the Citrus Bowl.

Things are bad right now, and O'Leary will be the first to admit it. But he also pointed out that there are no unbeaten teams in the East Division of Conference USA, and that with one league loss, the Knights still have plenty of chances to turn things around.
