Henderson adjusts to mental demands

Freshman LB Chance Henderson, who was thrown into a starting role in UCF's 26-24 victory over Memphis on Nov. 11, has been a huge help to the rushing defense. In Henderson's two starts, the Golden Knights' opponents were held to 78 and 28 yards.
Henderson, expected to be UCF's future at middle linebacker, hasn't had as much trouble adjusting to the speed of the game as much as its mental aspects.
"People don't realize how mental the game is," he said. "Once you pick up your reads, then you can be an athlete. That's the easiest part for me, being an athlete."
