Dolphins place Culpepper on injured reserve

MIAMI (Reuters) - The Miami Dolphins' placed quarterback Daunte Culpepper on injured reserve on Tuesday, ending his first season with the NFL team.

Culpepper has struggled with knee problems and the move to put him on the IR means he will not be able to play again this season.

Culpepper started Miami's first four games, throwing for 929 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions and completing 60 percent of his passes.
