The University of Central Florida football team struggled through a disappointing season, but Lawrence Young liked what he heard last weekend during a recruiting visit.

The Woodham High School senior middle linebacker committed to the Golden Knights on Tuesday, choosing to play for an up-and-coming program in his home state.

"I liked the way the coaches talked and the players talked," the News Journal Super Senior said of UCF. "Even though they had a rough season this year, they knew what they needed to do to change things around."
