Coach puts stock in kickoff rule change

UCF football coach George O'Leary said it may be his time in the NFL that caused him to pay special notice to an NCAA rules change that moved kickoffs back to the 30-yard line.

"I think it's big, and nobody makes a big deal of it," he said Friday at the school's football media day. "That kick return now is going to be a major, major weapon, and you want to have somebody back there that can get the job done. I think very few kicks are going to go into the end zone."
