After 28 years, Knights prepare for real on-campus homecoming
ORLANDO -- - After a 4-8 season, it's hard to imagine the University of Central Florida football team would be looking past any opponent, but that may be a concern as the season opener of the 2007 campaign approaches.
After playing at North Carolina State in the first game on Sept. 1, the Knights have two weeks to prepare for what will be a true home opener. On Sept. 15, they'll face perennial power Texas in the new 45,000-seat Bright House Stadium after playing at the Citrus Bowl for 28 seasons.
