Orlando - The UCF football team opened up its 2007 fall camp on Thursday as the Knights worked out under the lights during the opening practice of the season. The players wore their new white helmets for the session, while practicing in shorts and practice jerseys.
The team spent extra time working on fundamentals during the first hour of the session as technique was a topic stressed by head coach George O'Leary and his assistant coaches. Special teams work was mixed in at the beginning and end of the session, while the second hour was used for team work.
