All eyes on Smith as he narrows in on RB award
It's not that UCF TB Kevin Smith didn't have an audience before Saturday's trip to SMU.
But there were a few pairs of eyes in Gerald J. Ford Stadium that the Knights' junior standout might not have minded paying a little extra attention to him.
Members of the Guaranty Bank SMU Forum, the organization in charge of presenting the Doak Walker Award to the nation's top running back, were in attendance at Saturday's game.

The Dallas-based group selected Smith as one of 10 semi-finalists for the award last week and will narrow that list to three finalists Monday. The winner will be announced on Dec. 6.
