Titusville's De'Reese set to play for UCF

Muhammed De'Reese, a 6-foot, 215-pound running back/defender at Titusville High, De'Reese told the University of Central Florida that he is accepting the school's scholarship offer. One of the factors of his early decision, De'Reese said Tuesday, was that he would "be able to focus on the games" this year.

"They have a good offensive scheme and they need a big, strong back," De'Reese said of UCF.

De'Reese said he selected UCF over scholarship offers from Marshall, Southern Mississippi and South Florida. Titusville's proximity to Orlando was one factor, he added. Click on the logo to read more . (Mike Cherry- FLAToday.com)
