O'Leary leads a seasoned, healthy Central Florida team

George O'Leary has been a part of many a football season, some grand and some not-so-grand, but he seems particularly eager to get this one started.

O'Leary is beginning his fourth season as head coach at Central Florida. He has 19 returning starters and the school will christen its new, on-campus stadium, finally vacating the Florida Citrus Bowl.

The Knights were 4-8 last season, undeniably a step back for a program that played in the Conference USA championship game and the Hawaii Bowl after the 2005 season. But O'Leary says there is a "puffiness" about his team -- a term he uses as a compliment -- that he likes as it readies for the season opener at N.C. State on Saturday.
