For a guy who keeps saying he doesn't need any national attention, Kevin Smith gets louder and louder.

As if rushing for 490 yards in three games, including 124 Saturday, wouldn't be heard.

"Gosh, Kevin is so loud," said UCF quarterback Kyle Israel while conducting a postgame interview Saturday next to Smith. "I can't concentrate."

Even more booming than Smith's personality was UCF's 56-20 blowout of Memphis in Saturday's Conference USA opener at Bright House Networks Stadium.
