East Carolina put UCF and Conference USA's entire East Division in a stranglehold Saturday night.

After falling behind by a pair of touchdowns early in the second half, the Pirates sent a stirring message to the Knights, tearing loose five straight turnovers and scoring four unanswered touchdowns in what became a nightmarish 15-minute blur for the Knights.

ECU's defenders put the Pirate offense in prime real estate time and again, and the Pirates buried the Knights 52-38 to jump to 2-1 in C-USA East before a boisterous horde of 42,777.
