UCF's Smith blazing new ground on the ground
As he picked through his locker, a quick shower having taken care of any hint of debris from his 320-yard, four-touchdown performance against UAB Saturday night, UCF junior tailback Kevin Smith was feeling proud, protected and generous.
"It means I owe my offensive line a lot of money," Smith said when asked about what made his career-night possible in UCF's 45-31 victory.
He quickly corrected himself.
