Playing in their third consecutive nationally-televised game, the Golden Knights were thoroughly embarrassed by Big East Conference opponent Pittsburgh, 52-7, at the Florida Citrus Bowl Friday night. The loss dropped UCF to 2-4 with six games remaining, all within Conference USA.
Proclaiming itself as a "sleeping giant" 2005, a season that saw it secure its first bowl berth in school history, UCF made Pittsburgh look like the Steelers of the NFL instead of a Division I college team.
