Golden Knights to open new on-campus facility with 2005 National Champion Texas

Orlando, Fla. (www.ucfathletics.com) - UCF Director of Athletics Keith Tribble announced the opponents for the Golden Knights' 2007 football schedule on Monday. The schedule features eight Conference USA match-ups and a four game non-conference slate that includes teams from the Atlantic Coast, Big East, Big XII and Sun Belt conferences. Dates and times are still to be determined.

For the first time as a Division I-A member, UCF will play at least six home games in back-to-back seasons. Big XII-power Texas opens that portion of the schedule and will be the first UCF opponent at the on-campus Bright House Networks Stadium on Sept. 15, 2007.
