Defense dishes out strong plays vs. UTEP's offense

UTEP's offense was supposedly going to be a big headache for the Knights.

Instead, it was UCF's defense that dished out the pain.

The Miners entered Saturday's game ranked third in Conference USA in scoring offense, averaging 34.8 points per game.
UTEP ended the game with 20 points, including one touchdown.

The Knights sacked UTEP quarterback Trevor Vittatoe twice and snagged two game-changing interceptions that shut down the Miners' shot at a comeback.
