UCF's defense shows red-zone prowess

The Knights were back working in the red zone Thursday as they went through workouts in helmets, shorts and shoulder pads.

While both the offense and defense are scrutinized during red zone work, Thursday's emphasis seemed to be almost exclusively on seeing how the defense performed under the gun.

The coaching staff was hands-on, but at this point in camp the reminders are more simplistic with Coach George O'Leary repeatedly barking "Tempo."
