Jags' Walker insists his knee isn't injured

Former Edgewater High and UCF WR Mike Walker has a message for anyone who cares to listen. His knee is fine. No limp. No letup. He's ready to play.

Walker, one of four rookie receivers on Jacksonville's roster, was taken aback by seemingly constant media attention given to his surgically repaired left knee. As he did with other previously injured players, Jaguars Coach Jack Del Rio excused Walker from some twice-a-day practices to help along any continued rehabilitation.

But the perception is Walker's knee, operated on in December 2005, is still an issue. Although most ACL repairs continue to strengthen beyond two years, Walker is mystified there are still questions.
