Being a leader. Taking the good with the bad. Admitting when you're wrong and trying to correct mistakes. In a sport where the quarterback is the team's natural leader, Central Florida running back Kevin Smith has been a leader since his freshman year. "He's a solid player," UCF coach George O'Leary said. "He's not afraid to speak up. He's not afraid to tell an upperclassman what they're doing wrong. "He's a good player on the field," O'Leary said. "Hopefully, he's grown up off of it."
