Change of view suits UCF

After preseason, the Knights welcome a chance to hit another team tonight.

For most of the preseason, the questions that have surrounded UCF have been twofold: How much have the Knights improved from last season's 4-8 backslide, and are their new tools enough to get them a big victory against a Bowl Championship Series-league opponent?

The first chance to answer them both comes at 6 tonight when UCF travels to face North Carolina State in a game surrounded by just as much familiarity and similarities as questions.



The matchup with the Wolfpack marks UCF Coach George O'Leary's first game against an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent since he left as coach of Georgia Tech following the 2001 season. It also features an opponent, who, like the Knights, is coming off a disappointing season (3-9).
