Coach George O'Leary believes Knights need to start winning big

RALEIGH, N.C. - The talent and experience are deep on both sides of the ball, giving the University of Central Florida its best football team in four years, according to head coach George O'Leary.

The finishing touches are being put on a dazzling $60 million stadium, one that will give the Knights a sense of home and possibly even a distinct homefield advantage for the first time in the history of the program.

And there's a noticeable tinge of redemption driving a team that badly wants to make up for itself following a 2006 season in which it fell far below expectations.
