UCF was on the practice field for the second time this week Friday, starting its morning workout outside before a rain shower forced the Knights indoors for about half of the session.

Working in helmets, shoulder pads and shorts, the Knights did a small amount of installation for next week's home opener against Texas but also spent a large portion of the day getting accustomed again to game speed after being off the first three days of the week.

Coach George O'Leary said that he was pleased overall with how the team started the week.
