ORLANDO -- The impossible didn't happen at Bright House Networks Stadium on Saturday. As expected, sixth-ranked Texas beat UCF.

However, it wasn't the cakewalk that many expected. As a matter of fact, the Knights put a huge scare into the Longhorns before Texas avoided a major upset, beating UCF 35-32 in the inaugural game in the Knights' new $63 million facility.

The Longhorns needed a recovery of an onside kick by Brandon Foster with 35 seconds remaining to seal their victory.
