UCF sifts good from tough loss

UCF's defense shows progress against Texas and the offense looks for consistency.

It had been almost 12 hours, but leaning back in his chair, UCF Coach George O'Leary dipped his head back is if he could still hear the rumble.

He was recalling the sound from the stands above the Knights' locker room Saturday before his team took the field for what would become one of the most memorable home openers in school history.

"The student section is right above the locker room and tunnel, so we could really hear that," he said. "That was something special".
