Bulls' focus: Stop UCF's Smith

TAMPA - No. 5 USF is keying on stopping the run as it prepares for Saturday's home game against Central Florida.

Knights running back Kevin Smith has rushed for 860 yards in five games. His total trails only Michigan's Mike Hart, who has played one more game.

Smith's lowest total this season was 124 yards against Memphis and the junior has not been held out of the end zone.

"He's a real good running back," defensive end George Selvie said. "We take it as a challenge to face the nation's leading rusher. If we shut him down that's a lot of recognition for our defense."
