Practice intensifies before the big game

Every game week so far in 2007 has been about improvement for UCF, but the intensity level at practice hit its highest point for the Knights Wednesday.
Coaches were yelling a bit more. Players were sweating and breathing a little heavier. And the emphasis on precision was drilled into the first team offense and defense as they stayed for extra reps.
Put simply, it's crunch time for the Knights as they prepare for their third crack at USF and to knock off their first-ranked foe.
