Marshall players were glued to tube
UCF fans back in Orlando weren't the only television observers paying close attention to the ESPN broadcast of the Knights' 34-17 win over Southern Mississippi on Sunday night.
The only football game on the tube thanks to the NFL taking the night off, Marshall's players did a little live film study of their upcoming opponents.
"We were calling each other all during the game," Thundering Herd LB Josh Johnson told the Charleston (W.Va.) Gazette. "You see this, you see this, you see this play, you see this play? Who's pulling, who's pulling?

"It was kind of like watching film, and watching the game at the same time."
