High school football coaches wonder why the Knights don't sign more Florida athletes.

The best revenge on the hometown team that didn't want you?

Make it pay.

Last week, East Carolina running back Chris Johnson, who went to Olympia High School, and quarterback Rob Kass, who went to Lake Highland Prep, put on a show against what used to be their hometown team. Each accounted for three touchdowns on their own, and Kass threw a fourth touchdown pass to Johnson .

The Pirates beat the Knights 52-38.

"I would've loved to stay close to home; it just didn't work out that way," Johnson said. "I didn't pout about it. That was a real big game, me being from Orlando."
