With win over Marshall, UCF Knights picking up speed

This is where the story of UCF's 2007 football season starts to get interesting.

There have been times during the first eight weeks this season that observers of the Knights couldn't begin to predict where the story they were watching was heading -- especially after humbling back-to-back midseason losses to East Carolina and South Florida.

But after Saturday's 47-13 thumping of Marshall, the Knights' third straight win, it looks to be headed in the direction of UCF's second bowl appearance in three seasons.
