ORLANDO - For the University of Central Florida's upstart football program, today presents a perfect storm of sorts.
First, the Knights will play their inaugural game at dazzling Bright House Networks Stadium, a $60 million facility that will be jammed with 45,323 fans and could give UCF its first true homefield advantage.
Across the field, UCF will see visions of burnt orange and the powerhouse Texas Longhorns. Texas is ranked sixth in the country and has hopes of recapturing the glory of the 2005 national championship season this year.
