UCF's Smith leads nation; averages 183 yards a game

ORLANDO, Fla. — ORLANDO -- The pressure's building for Bright House Networks Stadium to produce.

UCF opened its $60 million, on-campus football facility last weekend against the University of Texas, but couldn't give the capacity crowd of 45,000-plus an upset victory to christen its new home.

Today at 2:30 CDT, Bright House gets a second chance.

Another crowd exceeding 40,000 is expected, but the University of Memphis (1-1) hopes to be the tough act that follows when it opens Conference USA play against the Knights (1-1).
