One thing that UCF Coach George O'Leary preaches frequently to his seniors and team leaders is for them to strive to take command of the locker room.
That big push is probably at least three or four games down the road, but as the Knights opened practice Monday in preparation for their home opener against Texas, he said there is a bit of encouragement in that department, fueled by playing their first true home game in school history.
"I think there is a lot of momentum as far as the team coming into their own venue," O'Leary said on Monday's Conference USA media teleconference.
